For Artico, a Milan-based artisanal gelato shop known for its quality, we developed Gelartico: a naming and packaging project that makes the product’s uniqueness immediately clear.
“Gelartico” blends two elements: gelato and Artico - a word that evokes extreme cold. The idea is to communicate right away the defining trait of this gelato: it’s stored at a lower temperature than usual - fresher, more stable, more unique.
The packaging was designed to give visual form to this concept: graphic clarity and simplicity, typographic choices that evoke a sense of coolness, and materials and finishes that highlight craftsmanship and quality.
With Gelartico, we combined visual strategy and content: not just a new name, but a clear identity that immerses the product in a coherent and distinctive narrative.
